Every reliable dental AI model is built on a foundation of meticulously labeled clinical data. Horizon Dental Jobs is actively building a talent pool of detail-oriented clinicians for upcoming Dental AI Ground Truth Annotator roles.
In this highly focused, remote position, you will be the clinical eyes reviewing the raw data that teaches AI systems to “see.” Rather than evaluating written outputs, your task is to review and annotate clinical inputs—such as classifying pathologies on OPGs, verifying tooth numbering, and confirming the accuracy of historical case notes. By joining our network, we will seamlessly match you with data pipeline projects that fit your availability, handling the entire introduction and onboarding process.
Core Responsibilities
- Establish Ground Truth Data: Review and annotate dental radiographs (bitewings, PAs, CBCTs) and intraoral scans to highlight caries, bone loss, and restorative work.
- Identify Dataset Anomalies: Catch and flag mislabeled, corrupted, or clinically ambiguous records before they are fed into machine learning training pipelines.
- Standardize Clinical Inputs: Apply rigorous, structured labeling frameworks and consistent dental terminology across large batches of patient data to ensure model accuracy.
Who We’re Looking For
- Credentialed Clinician: GDC-registered dentist with hands-on UK practice experience.
- Highly Methodical: You possess the stamina and sharp attention to detail required to process large datasets without compromising on accuracy.
- Quality Assurance Background: Previous involvement in clinical audits, peer review, or structured data entry is a massive plus.
- Time Commitment: Able to dedicate a small but consistent block of time monthly to process assigned data batches.
