As dental AI moves from the lab into the clinic, patient safety and guideline adherence are non-negotiable. Horizon Dental Jobs is partnering with pioneering tech firms to source Clinical AI Safety Auditors.
This remote, flexible role serves as the final line of defense before an AI product reaches a live clinical setting. You will be tasked with stress-testing AI-generated treatment plans, diagnostics, and patient communications to identify “hallucinations,” outdated advice, or unsafe recommendations. By joining our specialist roster, we connect you with clinical governance projects that allow you to safeguard the next generation of dental tech without stepping away from your chairside work.
Core Responsibilities
- Stress-Test AI Outputs: Audit AI-generated treatment recommendations, ensuring they align strictly with current, evidence-based guidelines (e.g., NICE, SDCEP).
- Mitigate Clinical Risk: Actively identify and report hallucinations, contraindication failures, and clinically inappropriate advice generated by the models.
- Provide Diagnostic Feedback: Write clear, structured bug reports and clinical rationale to help software engineers tweak the underlying algorithms.
Who We’re Looking For
- Licensed Practitioner: GDC-registered dentist with robust, real-world clinical judgment.
- Evidence-Based Mindset: Deeply familiar with current clinical guidelines, prescribing protocols, and contemporary standards of care.
- Clear Communicator: Capable of translating complex clinical reasoning into precise, written feedback that non-clinical engineers can easily understand.
- Governance Experience: A background in clinical governance, risk assessment, or medicolegal work will make your application stand out.
